2026 FOMC meeting schedule
The FOMC holds eight regularly scheduled meetings a year, each over two days. The policy statement - with the new target range for the federal funds rate - is released at 2:00 PM Eastern Time on the second day, and the Chair's press conference follows at 2:30 PM ET. Four meetings a year (March, June, September, December) also publish the Summary of Economic Projections, known as the dot plot.

2027 FOMC meeting schedule
The Federal Reserve has also published its 2027 calendar. Dates are tentative until confirmed at the meeting immediately preceding each one. A two-day meeting is already scheduled for January 25-26, 2028.
